Ahh, l'amour! I know some say it's just a Hallmark holiday, but I like Valentine's Day for a few reasons: One, it gives me a reason to use glitter to decorate, two it gives me something to look forward to in the dark, dark days of Minnesota winter...and three, I just love love!

As a calligrapher, one of the main parts of my job is wedding work - so I am constantly reminded that love is real, that people find each other in the weirdest of places (like my husband and I, who met in the basement of a local college bar while our friends were singing karaoke R-E-S-P-E-C-T) and that they meet at times when they least expect.
